Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Singh is currently working as the Director General, Kaushalya – The Skill University, an affiliating State University set up by Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat.

Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Singh holds a Ph.D (Management), M.Sc (Geology), M.B.A., LLB,CSIR/UGC NET in Earth Science and UGC-NET in Management having an outstanding record of educational qualifications with keen interest in studies and sports especially in Geology, Management, Law and Social Issues.

Prof. Singh has many research papers to his credit, and having more than three (03) decades of experience in teaching, research and academic administration in institutions of repute like University of Lucknow as Lecturer in Geology; Training and Orientation Centre (TOC), Ministry of HRD, Government of India as Lecturer cum Community Organiser; Sherwood Group of Institutions, Lucknow as Director Sherwood College of Management and Vice President of the group; Royal Group of Institutions, Guwahati as Founding Director and with Amity Education Group (having 12 Universities and several other Institutions in India and abroad) as Sr. Vice President and Founding V.C. of Amity University, Chhattisgarh.

Before joining KSU in July 2024, Prof. Singh served as the Vice-Chancellor of The Assam Royal Global University from November 2016. In this role, as the founding Vice-Chancellor and Senior Vice-President of the Gyan Sagar Foundation (the promoting body of Royal Global University and Royal Global School), he launched the university in 2017 with 13 schools and 77 programs, initially admitting 700 students. After six years, the university now hosts approximately 7,500 students across 24 schools and offers 130 courses. The success of all the institutions where Prof. Singh worked as head of institutions and leader during last 23 years are doing best at respective places in India. He is an education builder and known for launching green field projects and executing turn around strategist in education landscape in India.
